Generation
Refrigeration is generated centrally and also individually (on the customer’s premises) in compressor-driven refrigerating plants. The refrigerant used is ammoniac – the only refrigerant on the market that does not contribute to the greenhouse effect or damage the ozone layer.

Quality
At present supply encompasses three different cooling agents:

• Cooling brine, in-flow temperature 2°C
• Cold water, flow temperature 2°C
• Cold water, flow temperature 6°C

Availability
Sufficient units of the individual plant components (compressors, condensers, evaporators) are installed to ensure that refrigeration requirements are met, even in the event of failure of the largest unit. To meet the high demands on availability a double pipework system was installed.
