Generation Natural gas is used as a fuel to generate steam in high-pressure boiler plants. It produces the lowest possible emissions with the exception of nuclear energy.
Quality parameters Two different pressure levels are supplied to the exterior boundary of the customer’s premises:
- 20 barü, 220 °C
- 2 barü, 150 °C
Heat can also be supplied via a hot-water system with an in-flow temperature of 130°C. Distribution Steam and hot water are generally distributed via ring systems, so that maintenance can be carried out without disrupting production. Reusable condensate is returned to the power station.
Safety / Availability Sufficient redundancy in the steam generation plants and distribution systems guarantees a very high level of availability. |
